Study on Internet Health is Good News!

The Pew Charitable Trust has done a remarkable series of studies on the use of the Internet. This latest installment deals with the increasing use of the Internet as a place for people to find out information related to health care.

For example, in March 2000, 54% of all U.S. Internet users, or about 50 million American adults, said "yes" when we asked if they looked for health or medical information online. By March 2003, 66% of Internet users, or 77 million American adults, said they go online to look for health or medical information.

Why is this good news for companies which sell to other companies on the Internet? It shows the steady rise in people who "get it" about the Internet. It is an ideal place to research for knowledge and products.

Everytime someone gains expertise in using search engines, or in reading through sites, they become better targets for your online marketing efforts.
