Websites sometimes customize web pages for customers. Typically, this is done with a cookie that was dropped on your computer at some earlier point when you visited the site. In practical terms, it involves making a judgement about the user, and then filling up the different parts of a page template.

Unfortunately, templates sometimes break when too much text or an image that is too large is inserted into a template. This can cause serious usability problems.
