Survey Testing

Another way of evaluating a website. Survey testing firms have gathered a large group of people who are willing (for a fee) to look at your website and tell you what they think.

The advantage of this kind of testing is that you can get direct feedback from real people looking at your site. It works best when deciding subjective questions like "Do people like the site?"

The disadvantage is that these users are only giving their individual opinion; they can't identify why a website fails to serve their needs. For that, you would need to get an objective review of your website that takes usability rules into account.
