Bill Christensen is senior consultant and principal at TheSiteDoctor.com. He has ten years of experience in designing and maintaining usable websites for both the public Internet and corporate intranet and extranet environments. In the course of this work, he has designed and managed a variety of website application projects. He has consulted with large corporations such as Ford Motor Company, Unisys, and Nortel Networks, as well as many small businesses.

During the course of his work, Mr. Christensen has put together a set of over 600 rules-of-thumb and best practices for website usability and e-business excellence. He has also given talks at national Internet conferences like Internet World and Learning Technologies, as well as talks to specialized groups like the Securities Industry Association.

Mr. Christensen is the co-author of three books on personal computers in the healthcare field. He has ten years of experience in the field of technical writing. He also has twenty-two years of experience teaching in the field of computers and computer applications, including eighteen years as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Health Professions and Studies at the University of Michigan Flint campus.
